For years, Honey Hill Farm has operated as a mobile business, bringing animals to you. Now, we are expanding our infrastructure onto 100 acres just down the road to fulfill a long-held dream: inviting you to visit our animals in their own home.
Far Out Farm represents the next step in our evolution, allowing us to build significantly upgraded facilities for our staff and provide better, weather-resilient shelter for our animals. It also serves as a permanent sanctuary for the percentage of our herds that are retired, require special attention, or simply aren’t that into travel.
We believe we are currently living through an epidemic of isolation, loneliness, and overstimulation, navigating a modern world that was not built for us. Far Out Farm is our direct response to that disconnect.
We are creating this space for our community to restore access to the things that previous generations could take for granted: access to animals, access to other humans, and access to open rural spaces. We are not interested in building a cookie-cutter environment focused on funneling massive crowds through a turnstile. Instead, we want to draw in the people who truly need to be here and foster a genuine sense of community among our guests.
Everyone is welcome at Far Out Farm. If you have begun to see those who don’t think exactly like you as the enemy, you have lost the thread.
Far Out Farm is about focusing on what unites us, a shared love of animals, fresh air, nature, and a fundamental need for community, rather than what divides us. We do not care who you are or where you come from, only that you respect the animals, the land, and each other.
Far Out Farm is located on 100 beautiful acres in rural Berry, KY. It was a real Kentucky homestead for a single family for 100 years, and the various remaining infrastructure still tells their story.
Explore our creeks, ponds, trails, scenic overlooks and animals at your own pace.
Many of the original farm structures still remain, including a large concrete silo, the grain bin, the milk house, and the actual home, which has been remodeled but retains many of its historic features. It is occupied by one of our animal care specialists.
To serve our animals and the community, we have added an outdoor riding arena and two distinct gathering spaces designed for connection and activity, plus new fencing and animal shelters, water, and electricity.
Visit our animals in the place they are the most authentic version of themselves (for better or worse!).

Book a private animal encounter and get up close and personal with every animal on the farm. Our farm host will spill all the tea you could ever drink about what goes on behind the scenes.

Come celebrate the great unicorn migration when unicorns stop in Kentucky to boost their magic with our special summer bluegrass. We'll meet, celebrate, and maybe even get to ride these mystical creatures as we cheer them along on their journey.
Really lean into the Kentucky vibe with a special animal encounter that is all about horses. Meet them, brush them, ride them, This is for anyone who just can't get enough of horses.
Drop in for our open hours from 1pm-5pm on most Sundays (weather permitting) for a low price per group, where you can ride a horse or pony, feed the animals, spend time with family and friends, and make use of our freedom to roam policy.
Join our garden club and spend a little time each week tending the crops with other garden enthusiasts and then take home some of the harvest! Perfect for anyone who wants to eat healthy and local but doesn't have the time, the space, the physical ability, or the knowledge to do it alone.
