Connect with animals, rural space, and each other.

A relaxed, social approach to various agriculture activities like animal care, gardening, botany and caring for the natural world.

Do you really need an excuse to get out once a week on a beautiful farm in the country? We don’t think so, but just in case, we’ll give you one: friendship.

As a society, we have lost many of the “third places” we used to have. A third place is somewhere other than home and school/work, where we gather with friends, families or neighbors, exchange gossip, share grief and triumphs and laughter. Our “third place” has been replaced with social media. Gross.

Farm Clubs are meant to give people a reason and a place to gather, where maybe we can get back something that has been lost and start re-building our community.

What's a Farm Club?

Farm Clubs are a way of interacting with animals and rural space than anything you’ve likely experienced before.

A Farm Club is a group-based rural experience tailored to the age and ability of its members. Instead of super structured or topic specific classes, club members will engage with the farm in various age and demographic appropriate ways.

While some instruction is absolutely part of the experience, the focus is broader. Together, the group performs a variety of fun and engaging tasks, from simple animal care activities to gardening to exploring the nature around the farm. It’s fun, informal, and deeply rewarding.

Let your vibe attract your tribe.

Because we tailor the experience to the group’s demographics, no two Farm Clubs are exactly alike. You can form a private club with your own family and friends, or let us match you with individuals of similar age, physical ability and interests.

Here are just a few examples of the types of clubs we can host:

Homeschool Co-ops: A fantastic addition to any physical education or nature curriculum.

Mommy & Me: A wonderful bonding experience for young children who love animals and a lifeline to their mothers during what can be an isolated time.

Active Retirees: A gentle, engaging way to stay active, learn a new skill, and enjoy the farm.

Teen Meet-ups: A safe, structured, and screen-free environment for teenagers to socialize and build confidence.

Mom’s Night Off: Swap the coffee shop or wine bar for fresh air and time at the barn.

Don’t see a farm club for you? You can form your own with family and friends, or others you meet at Far Out Farm.
