Connect with horses. Connect with each other.

Join A Saddle Club

A relaxed, social approach to horsemanship where community matters just as much as time in the saddle.

If traditional riding lessons feel too formal or a little out of the family budget or you just prefer a more social experience, our Saddle Clubs are the perfect alternative.

Built around connection rather than competition, Saddle Clubs are all about learning to care for horses together, cheering each other on as you try new things, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors with people you love—or new friends you’re about to make.

What's a Saddle Club?

Saddle Clubs are a way of interacting with animals that is very different than traditional riding lessons.

A Saddle Club is a group-based horsemanship experience tailored to the age and ability of its members. Instead of an isolated 1-on-1 lesson, club members share horses—typically at a ratio of one horse for every two riders.

While some riding instruction is absolutely part of the experience, the focus is broader. Together, the group learns how to safely handle, groom, and tack the horses. When you aren’t in the saddle, you’ll be actively involved on the ground: observing, learning, and supporting your clubmates. It’s fun, informal, and deeply rewarding.

A Herd for Every Rider

Because we tailor the experience to the group’s demographics, no two Saddle Clubs are exactly alike. You can form a private club with your own family and friends, or let us match you with individuals who share your interests!

Here are just a few examples of the types of clubs we can host:

Homeschool Co-ops: A fantastic addition to any physical education or nature curriculum.

Mommy & Me: A wonderful bonding experience for parents and younger horse lovers.

Active Retirees: A gentle, engaging way to stay active, learn a new skill, and enjoy the farm.

Teen Meet-ups: A safe, structured, and screen-free environment for teenagers to socialize and build confidence.

Mom’s Night Off: Swap the coffee shop or wine bar for fresh air and time at the barn.

Don’t see a saddle club for you? You can form your own with family and friends, or others you meet at Far Out Farm.
